QUESTION: How are your racks shipped to me?

Unless the method of shipping is already posted on the site then shipping will be either by UPS or Trucker. It depends on what type of server rack you may be wanting. If is several pieces and has a large height and weight then more then likely it will go by trucker. Shipment is from dock to dock. If you need special handling or a lift gate truck then please let us know ahead of time. There is an extra charge for lift gate delivery. Keep in mind that many of these items come skidded and may require special handling by you. You can request the ship charges ahead of time too...

QUESTION: Is there any warranty?

Yes, there is a manufacturer limited warranty against manufacture defects.

QUESTION: How long does it take?

Many of the items are already to go. Others are special assembled and made to your custom order, so that takes longer. Shipment can take anywhere from few days to a few weeks. If this is a concern then ask...

QUESTION: Is there a difference between an open rack and a basic four post rack?

Yes. A basic four post rack gets bolted to the floor, and doesn't have sides or top or door. A buildable 4 post rack is one that has the ability to be enclosed later on. It also comes with locking casters. It is constructed with 19" or 23" mounting rails for mounting equipment and rack servers.

QUESTION: What is 19" or 23" mounting rails?

The mounting rails are inside and are where you mount equipment. They are 10-32 tapped screw holes. A bag of screws comes with the rack.

QUESTION: Do you have wall mounted enclosure cabinets?

Yes. You can get slim, small or larger wall mounted cabinets. You can also get a wall mounted swing out rack. There are lots of choices.

QUESTION: Can Air Conditioning be put into a non- Nema cabinet?

Yes, in most cases. We have even put AC in a 48 Inch high cabinet.

QUESTION: Can you put a fan in the cabinet and an air filter.

Yes, we can put a cabinet fan of several different styles and sizes and place a filter in the cabinet wall.

QUESTION: Where I am placing this cabinet is dusty air enviornment, what can I do to protect my server?

A Nema-12 compliant rack is designed for dusty dirty environments. You should be checking into our Nema quality compliant line of cabinets.

QUESTION: What about shipping costs isn't it a lot?

We do everything we can to keep the costs to a minimum. We work with many truckers and UPS. The rate can be given to you when you request the pricing on a cabinet. We must have the company, city, state, zip code. After all our business is cabinets and we need to control that the best way possible. If you need a lift gate truck we need to know a head of time.
